Interesting car, unfortunately, it's got the automatic transmission (or maybe that's a plus, as far as doing a cheap engine swap? Perhaps a V6 Buick transplant?) and it's a 4 door.

Says he wants a trade, and all I have is a VERY high mileage 1996 Civic...maybe that's a good thing?

That's in amazingly good condition.

I dont think I have ever actually seen one of those in person. Of course cars like that were mostly rotted away by the end of their warrenty I think.

When I lived in Memphis, there was a 2 door with the diesel engine at one of the apartment complexes I delivered pizzas to. And it did move as it was on the road a few times.

I had a holden gemini (same car) in New Zealand that was a 5 speed. It was a fun little car. It was left hand drive, which was a bit of a learning curve for me. I bought it instead of renting a car for the month I was there as the cost was the same. I ended up selling it for more than I bought it for.

I'd bet a Rover V8 would fit nicely in that engine bay.
