02 sentra se-r 5 speed $500

mine totally affiliated.

02 sentra se-r. PO claims recent clutch, HG. i bought with no-start condition. went through the entire factory flowchart, came to bad PCM(all power/grounds good, no CEL and no communication with my scanner). sent it out for rebuild service and they told me it's fried and needs replaced and sent it back so i have a core. i have yet to get around to ordering one. it has a new pcm relay and appears to have had the harness fix under battery. i tested continuity through the whole pcm power supply circuit and it was all good. 17xk miles. solid, few rust spots near back wheels.

spare me the "pre cat failed engine won't start because it's junk" talk, so help me if anyone says that's why it wouldn't start i'll come to your house and kick you in the junk.

the only reason i'm listing it without getting the new pcm is because i found something that i've been looking for for quite some time, and it is slightly out of my price range so i'm trying to get quick cash. plus you guys like cheap stuff. $500 is my break even point.

Didn't even think to ask you about it when I was there the other day with all the other cool stuff to talk about; this would be a decent project/autocross car for my son.

Not trying to start anything, but you know those PCMs are like $120ish right? Seems like a quick fix to double the value of this car.

i do, but it's really cold out and i'm being lazy.

Those cars should be a 6 speed, not 5.

Depends if it's spec v or regular se-r

Qr25 vs sr20

Incorrect. SR20 was only available in the 2001 SE model. The regular SE-R was 2002-2006 and had qr25 with a 5 speed manual. The SE-R Spec-V had the qr25 with the 6 speed manual with LSD.

Wow, news was out before we even got home! Looks like a nice car that should be a hoot to drive.

Run_Away thanks for the offer! Step one will be to get it so it moves under it's own power.
