I have a 1942 Willy’s Military Battle Trailer (MBT) for sale. It is currently sitting on a 5x4.5 3500lb dexter axle the exact width of a Jeep Wrangler TJ series. It also comes with the original axle and both original wheels.
$1000 obo for GRMers. Or trades considered.
865 x 227 nine two four three.

Very cool. What type of lights are you using?

Thanks. I like it too, just too small for my current needs.
As far as lights they are just some circle lights from Tractor Supply. It has the mounts for the military black out lights, but they were busted and broken when I got it.
Man those are hard to find in reasonable shape. They make perfect Jeep trailers.
And looking at the pics, it has the same wheels that are on my JK.
Dammit, why am I so poor?
GLWS!

You are right. They make great Jeep trailers. This is my second one and we used it behind my TJs. The wheels are very similar to the JK wheels, but they have the same bolt pattern as a TJ so 5x4.5. Both the original and the ones on it are 16" wheels.
If you have ever been to Expedition Portal there are lots of folks building and modding trailers just like this. That was my plan too, but we've moved to a bigger SUV and plans change.
