Sorry folks! But unfortunately this is not a real Lotus Indy car, but an extremely Rare Vintage 1960's Lotus Pedal car made by Garton, which is a hhighly respected maker of vintage pedal cars. This beauty is in fantastic, all complete, and original condition. This car is made of hard plastic, and extremely hard to find in any condition, and especially one in this condition.

Most of the Vintage plastic Indy pedal cars were made in either Italy, or France, and command a very high price. Pictured in this ad, is a copy of a sale from Sotheby's in 2015 were two of the plastic Indy pedal cars sold for $4,600. Jeez, I actually have a 5hp Briggs out in my barn...

I have a 7.5 HP Harbor Freight motor... Might have wheelbase issues at the drags, but hey, that would easily keep it under Challenge budget. :)

Are you sure it doesn't have anything that leaks or smokes, I mean it has to have something? Maybe a well hidden smoke pump to make it more authentic...???
