Does look like a good deal. Drivetrain was oddly clean. Usually the oil spray serves as the underbody rustproofing. The sill/inner sill and floors are a little bit of a pain, but not the worst thing I've taken on.
Whether there is just a little or a whole bunch of rust, repairing it properly is about the same amount of work. Requires cutting out and replacing lots of little panels and sections. Those repair pieces are getting pricey. Last one I did cost around $2K just for the panels, floors, rockers, etc. I fabbed up some of patch pieces on my own to cut costs. Takes a good 40 hour week to cut and weld, then the body work starts.
thats almost exactly like the one I have sitting in the garage at the moment. Only difference is that one runs and mine doesn't have as much rust...

Holy cow!! When those first came out I think you could get them for somewhere between $3,500 and 5,000. TR6 too.
Love to own one of these some day, but I think I'm sticking with my rule of not buying cars from people that can't spell "brakes". I've always suspected "breaks" is a Freudian slip.
Same rule applies to "Camaro", BTW.

But would you buy a "Crammit"?
I actually looked at this car bout a year ago. Really rough and lots of rust. Barely could keep the car running. For 3-5k you can find pretty good condition MGB GTs.
