Seller said: For sale: Antique! 1974 Volvo 145 wagon. I bought this car thinking I would get it back on the road, but I have too many projects. Previous owner told me it was driving when parked - but then sat for a while and the rear window was knocked out. It has the B20 engine with a conversion to a single Webber carburetor and manual transmission. The engine runs, sounds really good, and doesn't smoke. I've only run it on a test tank. I drained the fuel tank and put fresh gas in it, but I think it may have a break in a fuel line. The clutch works. It shifts and drives. I've driven it just enough to see that 1st and reverse work fine. Brakes are not working. It will need to be towed. It has interior blemishes, dents, dings, and rust (not terrible rust). Could be a fun project for someone. Or would make a great replacement engine for any of the old B18 or B20 Volvos. The B18 version of this engine holds the world record for highest mileage (3 million and counting), no joke. Look up Irv Gordon's Volvo. Please see the pictures for more details and call, text or email with any questions. Thanks for looking.
