It's worth it just for the manual swap parts. I would buy it if it was local. It has less rust than my 83 242. 

It's the perfect starting point for a pickup conversion. Save any not rusty sheet metal being cut out to use as patch panels as a bonus as well.

Trans is a M47 4 spd with J-Type overdrive.  Sporty it is not.  

However, a 5.0/T-5 drops into one of these like it was made to be.

Actually it is an M46.  The M47 I believe is a true 5 speed trans.  But the seller told me this one has the M46.  Still, the early 80's were not good years for these, I think they had some electrical issues then.  

And yes, my comment about hipsters was taking aim squarely at the manual transmission.  Well, that, and this one looks like it would need, you know, WORK, to get running.  Hipsters don't do WORK.  Or is that Millenials?  Eh probably both.
