For $1000 that looks like a risk I might even take. Start with fuel pressure and some belts, correct?
That's a lot of really dark pictures.
I think the 944 may be the new Bi-turbo. A lot of them don’t run and have less than 100k miles.

My guess is a lot of second owners not doing timing or balance belts in time, or the dreaded #3 (EDIT #2) bearing.

yes. The #2 bearing that was spun in one of the two 924S's I had ;)
#3 being the one that usually fails in Subarus....which is what my other car is ;)
