Bought a 1987 volvo GLE for 250$. 5 speed.
with a new head. and wiring harness in it. Drove it home. A/c running. and sun roof open.
Gutted it. had local shop weld in a cage for ChCar and LeCar specs. with net.
hood/trunk pins. blade rear nascar style spoiler.
Installed dual sway bars in the rear.
Had rear lower control arms boxed and welded.
Obtained a 4.10 gear G80 locker rear diff. installed it.
installed kirkley seat and sparco wheel.
Found set of vintage 5 spoke fitipaldi wheels 15x7.
car was 250$. cage and bracing and wing and seat mount and window net. frame welding was 3,000$.
Looking to sell or trade. value of car is about 500$. value of cage and misc is about 1000. value is about 1,500 the way it is.
So factory 5 speed. RWD car 4.10 geared with a locker . caged. runs . come get it..
Shame to get so far and not race it. Did I miss it or where are you?

4.10 gears and locker. new fluid. dual sway bars. and boxed in lower control arms.
sitting in front of house before swapping wheels.
moving dday to new house.. in the back ground is a 1989 turbo dodge caravan..
posted with my 1989 turbocharge 5 speed plymouth voyager ( tow rig).
this shot it has the 4.10 rear end. and fitipaldis and lowering springs installed in the rear.
Still need to do the front springs and double front sway bars. then go beat on it.

It’s a really good thing I didn’t see your ad before the Challenge. The Volvo doesn’t look very comfortable to sleep in.
willing to proceed slighly lower. and start removing parts( wheels. seat ,steering wheel, ENGINE ) for 2019$ reasons. with receipts.
if you wanna motor swap it engine and trans can come out. save even more monies.
long term plan was to junkyard 5.3 swap it.. pretty easy. and fits well.
willing to add some spares and nice parts and cam shaft for a bit more.
need it gone. come at me bro. $$
