My faithful, handy little chevy.
Bought this thing three years ago with intentions of stripping out and race-car-ing. It turned out to be in such good shape I felt bad about doing that so I just drove it instead.
It is a 1990, regular cab, short bed S10 Tahoe. 4.3 V6, 5 speed, 2 wheel drive. There are 215k miles on the clock. The AC has been removed. There is a tear/wear spot on the carpet on the drivers side. The seat belts have seen better days. The 14" wheels have mismatched old tires. There are a few small patches of rust (pictured). The clutch is starting to chatter, but does not slip. There is a tear in the seat cover. The handle bezel on the drivers interior handle is under the seat. The weather stripping is all but gone. Luckily I live where things don't rust so nothing is worse than when I got it and most things are better. The paint is 28 year old truck paint, but I have waxed it and kept it clean... for what it is worth. There is one decent dent in the side of the bed and sever small dings.
In the last two years I have replaced/rebuilt the following:
Rebuilt stock rear end, timken bearings and seals, Torsen limited slip, 3.08 gears
New thermostat, water pump and hoses
New heater core
Rear 3"drop springs with leaf spring sliders
Front and rear Blazer sway bars

Proforged tall ball joints (upper and lower)

New Centric rotors and pads
Timken bearings and seals in the front

Pictures!
More pictures available. Included are a haynes manual, factory wheel chocks, lug wrench and jack, stock 14" wheels, some tie downs (for truck stuff), a tow strap, all my spare parts, factory steering wheel, and a tank of gas.
Truck is in St. George, UT. PM me or add take my user name and add 1200@ g male.com and I'll give out my number.
Posted in the challenge classifieds with hopes it actually makes it to Florida. The handling is great for a truck, and it is just some horse power from being fast. I have some SBC swap mounts somewhere I'll toss in if I can find them. Or look how much room there is in front of the radiator with no AC condenser in there... hint, hint. Or it is just a solid truck with very little body rust, and none on the frame (seriously, the desert is awesome). I have driven this truck daily for three years and would drive it to the moon without any worries at all. Great candidate for a fly-n-drive.
Anyway, asking $1800, Thanks for looking. Party on.
