If you're playing along this is another of my Challenge "builds" that are never going to happen. I bought this about a week before the ministock, off of Ebay, solely because it was local. I'm an idiot and my brain is bigger than my skills/ability/time management.
This 1987 Alfa Spyder has a clean FL title in my name. The PO turned it into an electric car (hence the lightning bolt) There is no engine in the car but the transmission and the rest of the drivetrain are there. No seats but I'll throw in a fixed back racing seat if desired. The car does have rust in the body but the frame and suspension are in good shape. The top, while not perfect, is solid and keeps the interior dry. The PO removed the gas tank for battery storage but I sourced one and it will go with the car.
While I'd love to see this buily as an EV for the Challenge, my plan was to drop a JDM 3SGE drivetrain in it with a 6spd transmission. The JDM store in Orlando used to stock them for $1250. HERE is one on Ebay.
Drop me a PM if you need more info.

That shift moccasin is awesome.
So... How do you know my weakness? I made New Year's resolutions you know?
Oh snap, a parts car with Panasports and a hard top for $600!
Thank goodness I have willpower! AKA SWMBO...
I have no willpower but really don’t want to drive to Florida to pick up 2 alfas or I’d be bothering Kurt to pick up the parts car for me.
In reply to Patrick :
I know of a Spyder in Jax that would make a great parts car also. Your could be the man heading north with three Alfas.
With all the obscure stuff I’ve brought home the last few years an alfa seems kinda mundane and ordinary

They might be small enough to fit on his trailer sideways.
Resurrection weekend special!
Who wants this thing? $200? It has a clean FL title in my name AND a gas tank! Make me an offer!
Pat, you know you want it.
I would but apartment woes and money will be tighter for a while.

Thank you, Florida. You are just far enough away to keep my Project Backlog from going any further into double digits than it is now.
BUMP, The Challenge is AutoX heavy this year. $200, with a clean title! You know you want this car!
AND the Alfa has potentially found a home! It is destined for Challenge glory (not this year) and will hopefully be off to it's new home in ~ 4 weeks.
