Guys, I've got something special for you all today. My clutch slave cylinder went out on my Volvo a few weeks back, don't have time to fix it and frankly need a more practical vehicle for towing my school's FSAE car, so please someone take it off my hands and run it in the challenge. It's a straightforward, but time consuming fix, and I simply don't have time to spend 10 hours under my car right now with school and no place to work on the Volvo. Mechanically really sound, needs a slave cylinder and clutch plate because it got contaminated with brake fluid when the slave failed. Paint is bad because car is from Florida, but that means no rust. Hasn't been in Michigan long enough.
Car looks like this:
Asking $2000. I hardly have any money into this car.
These things are a ton of fun and have a way more refined feel than the focus that they are based off of, and the T5 provides a heck of a lot more punch then what the US spec focus offered.
In reply to captdownshift:
Trust me I know, I had a First gen Focus Wagon and it was dangerously slow. This thing is a riot and I hope someone can do right by it.
Too Bad/glad to hear it is in Michigan, and too far for me to come get it...
You say the paint is bad but it looks pretty good in the pictures; what's wrong with it?
In reply to dculberson:
It has pretty awful clearcoat damage from years of Florida sun, peeling in many areas. Better than rust if you ask me.

If I hadn't just picked up a V70 T5 I'd be on this like white on rice
Oh...if it was a wagon
How about interior pics ?
In reply to DrBoost:
Those are awesome, almost got one when I got this! Would have been a better choice most likely.
In reply to scottdownsouth:
I'll get some pics this weekend, car is stored off campus from me.
Bump, anyone interested? My storage on the street of my parents place is making me a very motivated seller.
Your a bridge to far I'm afraid!
In reply to scottdownsouth:
Damn, where are you located?
These are very fun cars. I test drove one a while back, but ended up not pulling the trigger due to some sketchy car fax history and even sketchier seller. If you were closer, I'd be very much interested. Someone on this board should def buy this.
In reply to penultimeta:
Incredibly fun, it pains me to sell it but I need a tow rig and don't have time to fix it.
In the middle of sunny South Carolina. I need a new DD
Is this one AWD or FWD? Google says both were available.
In reply to psteav:
This is the FWD model, 6 speed manual. I believe it has the desirable 320mm front brakes as well.
In reply to scottdownsouth:
Well, if you're ever willing to take a trip up in a tow rig, let me know!
Few more pictures for anyone interested.

How many miles? does it run, drive, and stop?
I really shouldn't be asking.
In reply to DrBoost:
Runs and stops no problem, needs a clutch before it should do any more driving.
I take it the clutch slave cylinder is inside the bellhousing?
In reply to spitfirebill:
Yessir, the worst possible place to put it.

I really want this, but can't do a 2000 mile round trip right now.
