Nope. I'd stay all Ford. 460 big block.

The Edsel should already have a 9" rear, so that's plenty stout. Swap in some 3.50 gears and it'll be a hoot.
I feel like if this Edsel ran in crapcan, a more modern livery should be put on it. How's this for a heavy dose of irony?
A good friend of mine daily drives a 59 Edsel Ranger powered by a 2.3L Turbo Ford..

I'd vote for one of Vaughn Gittin Jr's mustang liveries. The older Falken one is probably too tasteful though.
You know that Edsel's wheelbase is the same as an F-150 right? Tastefully lifted, nice tires, I would name it the Ugly Mudder.
