This is a classic British convertible sports car with desired wire wheels, offered well below official collector car guide prices. The Hagerty Price Guide lists this car between $4,500 and $29,000 depending on condition and the price increases as it ages. This car runs, drives and stops but it has been some time since the last tuneup or restoration work. It is in need of restoration but it is drivable right now and is restorable.
I believe it still has the original 1800 CC engine, 4 speed manual gearbox and drive train. I have started and driven this car around the block for the past few years in storage to keep it fresh and moving but I have never driven it for any length of time. The only history I know on the car is about 10 years of indoor storage from the person I bought it from. I bought the car intending to use the strong running engine on another MG I own but I had another engine fall into my lap and I've simply stored this MGB for the last few years.
Know work needed, the convertible top frame and attachment are included in the trunk. It needs a new canvas for $300 or less and it's easy to install yourself. The floorpans and undercarriage have rust damage and has been patched. Needs a simple tune-up. See it displayed on the lawn at 33581 Bainbridge Rd in North Ridgeville in daytime and in good weather. There is a phone number noted on the car.
NOTE: This is the last price reduction. If it doesn't sell at $1,500 I will return it to storage and wait a few more years, or maybe put a top and tuneup on it and keep it ;-)
