Would love something like that to replace my truck when I sell it. Big enough to do truck work, yet should get better than the 14mpg my truck currently gets and old enough to to have some cool cruiser chops. 
The hesitation with the new carb, probably just needs some injector cam tuning.

After realizing I'm going to have to merge the berkeleying harnesses on Turtle and Scoob to get the Scoob running again I'm considering buying something from the '70's to DD for a while so I appreciate fuel injection.
