Looks like a swift GT, but shouldn't it have the 1.3 l 4 cylinder double overhead cam motor and be fuel injected not carbureted?
A friend had a couple of these, I believe one was in 89 and the other 90 I could be wrong it was a long time ago, they were both double overhead cam 1.3 with fuel injection.
Something doesn't add up. A GT should have the 1.3 DOHC 4 cylinder, not a 1.0 3 cylinder. And I can't imagine it would still have a carbed engine.
The most likely explanation is that he doesn't know what he has. It does have all the external GT stuff.
He just sent me an engine pic. It is a 1.0 with a carb. Somebody has changed the engine out a some point. I am out....
If it's not rusty, I'd still be interested. I think we still have a pile of twin cams buried somewhere.
ok. Is the VIN correct? If so then it's just an engine swap away from being as rare as rocking horse poop. And at that price some antipodean or european will at some point pay you the privilege of owning it because these are much more appealing to them than to us. Having said that I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Original Hoonigan. OH. I think I just replaced OG.
