yeah, the shell might be toast, but arent the really fast DSM drag cars now using the autos because they don't break? could be a really good drivetrain donor for a 1G.

It looks like this is actually the PJ platform- has a shorter wheelbase than the cloud cars, which would be important with trying to keep the AWD...

Yes and no, I'm not up to speed on all the auto swap nuances, but I believe the transmission is different enough to require some retrofitting. The engine isn't all that desirable in the 2Gs either, at least until they are rebuilt.
