Challenge car or otherwise? Reason I'm asking is that I'd give you my 2V PI intake (plastic crossover) for the cost of shipping. Pulled it from my '01 Mustang GT suspecting a cracked intake, but it turned out that the gaskets were leaking after 293k.
I completely understand if you only want the aluminum crossover model, though.

No, this is going in (what I hope to be) a daily driver, so the plastic crossover won't do. Thanks, though.

Sounds like a fair price for a new one, but I think a used one is good enough for me.
