Classic DTM fans, your project car has arrived
.
This looks very, very sad. I suspect no one other than GRMers will even know what it is.
Classic DTM

CL Dude says:
Sporty MB sedan with 5 speed and body kit.
It has been sitting for about 10 years. It is in decent shape, interior is nice, and it ran well when parked. It does roll. The keys work in the trunk and doors but not the ignition. They are not the new keys with a chip in them, FYI.
Restore, fix up, just put back in road?, nice winter project.
Come see or call with questions. King's Auto in Kent. M-F 7a-5p and until noon on Saturday. This is a repair shop, not a car lot, FYI.
I'd take a $1000 chance on that.
Wonder how music fun getting that cosworth back running will be. They rust as bad as any 80s benz. So being from the rust belt that's a concern. I am interested, thought.

Only to
Part it
Out.
I've had three and they rust really bad under the plastic and that one has nothing left. The Trans and engine are worth a bit and the interior looks decent...
Oh my good Lord. The unicorn on my bucket list.
Thank goodness it's not black. Damn.
Wow, I might have to go look at this just for fun
These are the next E30 M3. Prices are already starting to rise. Really, really hard to go wrong for $1k.
In reply to pointofdeparture:
You know you aren't helping...
I wonder if they would trade for it.
And gone. Which one of you was it?
In reply to kazoospec:
Whew! Not I. Probably just as well...
Not me. I just got home from work.
Too expensive of a $1k car for me, but I'm hoping someone on here grabbed it!
At a thousand bucks, think of the Locost possibilities...
Great, now I'm window shopping these. I always liked them. Didn't realize they had depreciated so badly. Kinda crazy considering where e30 m3s are.
