Has anyone run an S4 in the Challenge yet? Curtis asking about a cheap luxury car made me check CL for a cheap Audi and I saw this. It'd take some work but twin turbo AWD could be pretty wicked for the price.

If the interior was damp enough for mold to grow it raises the question of how it got that damp and if the same thing happened to the rest of the car.

Yep there are trans modules under the floor carpet on those.... But it needs a rebuild, the manual swaps in if you grind the output shaft on the motor down a little. There is a write up on it
Commons clogged drains on the b5's, sunroof and under the battery.
Wonder if it actually needs a trans rebuild. Like mentioned, the trans module is under the carpet at the passenger floorboard. It's mounted at the lowest part of the car, genius.
I've had luck just removing and drying out the module to bring it back to life.
With all the rain in SoCal lately we've had a half dozen cars in the shop with interior water intrusion. Almost all from clogged sunroof drains.
Here's the backseat of an e60 I'm currently repairing/cleaning.
