I had no idea Miata hard tops were going for $3k now. I need to sell mine!! 
1999 Miata, 216K on odometer. Motor was just redone by a reputable miata shop and has less than 5k miles on it runs very strong, shifts well, and rides great. Car does NOT have a soft top and will NOT come with the hard top, If you want the hard top the price is $5000 firm. otherwise its $2000

Curious if he has paperwork from the motor rebuild. At least from this view it looks pretty nice and almost definitely worth $2k
Looks pretty nice. Wheels need to go though, and no way a hardtop adds 3K to the price, especially when it's not even the right color for the car.
The wheels aren't 100% horrible. They'd be better in black or gunmetal though so they don't stand out as much.
Dude is probably sick of offers to buy just the hardtop.
