EDIT: That said, they're undervalued enough that I'm not sure it's worth it to buy anything other than a reasonably nice one. Of course, this one is Cheap and nominally recently-viable...
um. holy crap. 2.0l lotus 907 all aluminum DOHC 4 valves per cylinder and some came with a getrag 5 speed? 144 HP!!
Can someone tell my why what sounds like the best LBC drivetrain ever does not make a more desirable car?

Not with those floor boards.
I'm guessing the hood release doesn't work, or asking for pictures of the engine is asking for too much.
I've got a set of those wheels I'll sell cheap if someone buys the car and wants an extra set.
I've said it before for such a rare car. Pay the money and bolt it to the wall as art. If it ever appreciates in value take it down and sell it.
