I was just at the pick n pull this morning taking advantage of the 50% off sale. While waiting in the long line to check out I noticed one of the "Builder" cars and ran over to take a quick look. The writing on the windshield said the no brakes. It's a complete car not smashed. 2.5L Legacy GT, AWD. Which I believe means it's got a turbo STI engine.
If your in Dallas it is at the Pick n Pull Dallas West location off of Loop 12.
It's an EJ25, but not the STI's EJ2507, differences in therror head (sodium fills valves etc) and different turbo. Then major differences in the AWD system and transmission. They're fun with a manual though.
It depends what year Legacy GT it is. The late 90s had a LGT that was just an n/a 2.5
I didn't look at it close, but it does have the scoop in the hood. Comparing my memory to pics online I'd say it's around a 2004.
