Only one downside, as I think I understand, as a '96 and therefore OBD2 equipped, it will be a little down on power so as to pass OBD2 standards and not an easy plug and play with a NICO upgraded ecu.

True. That would be an issue. You would have to get a jumper harness and a different ECU. Not too expensive to do i bet you could the entire thing for 100 bucks or so.
Man, I'd rock that as a cheap daily for the money. Nice.
