You want it because the Leaning Tower of Power is begging to be turbocharged. And it's not even that hard.
I wrote that earlier this year after a sweet late 60's Barracuda was parked next to my car at the grocery store on a Sunday morning. I was taking pictures of it,and the owner came out and graciously showed me the car. He did a write up on SlantSix.org on using GM 3.8 V6 EFI bits from a Grand National to make it all work. I still want to build one myself.
Seriously, why would you NOT want that? It's a 1973 car - how hard can the ignition issue be to fix? The bigger question is, how related is the current state of the dashboard to the ignition issue? But really, a '73 Dart, you can probably get a whole wiring harness for it.
$1990 seems kinda long money for that in its current operational condition, though.
My wife's parents had one and it could barely get out of its own way. But, it always went when you turned the key.
