I know the P71 is popular around here. I’m hoping to find an Interceptor steering box to swap into my 93 Ranger and quicken the steering. I’m told it may be a straight bolt-in swap. Thanks for any leads.

Double check your info before you spend the dollars. IIRC, the Vic box rotates the opposite direction vs. the Ranger box

Damn. I think you’re right. Any idea what box I can swap into a Ranger to quicken things up?

None that I am aware of. Been doing the Ranger thing for a long time and this has been a glaring deficiency as far back as I remember.

Have you considered splicing in a quickener?

Yeah, I’ve been looking at that option. Was just hoping for an oem bolt in solution before I commit to tearing into the dash and fabbing mounts.

The ZJ Grand Cherokee steering box is a popular donor for projects. I don't know if would actually help as it's probably just a slow... Something to research I suppose.
