GRM super sales guy Joe Gearin just got his door panels reworked by them, and they're gorgeous.

All I said was canoe. How is that being a tool?

As a constructive tip for the new site... instead of "None" paid advertisers should get "Sponsor Dork" so as not to look like CANOES. Some of us tools are easily fooled. Oh, yeah... I saw that Mr Speedy edit.

I softened my tone because you weren't being a tool, just a little hyperactive.

Let's consider it this way: If a message is made in the advertiser forum, they aren't a canoe until Per or one of the other staff members (heh) says so. No blood, no foul.

The doors on the E36 coupes are the cars biggest failings. My drivers side panel is a disaster. What part of the country are you located in?

We're located in the DFW area of Texas, but can ship anywhere if you can live without the panels for a week or two.

I just returned home from SEMA to find my door panels waiting for me!

They look fantastic! The craftsmanship is superb, and the materials are of much higher quality than stock. The leather that replaced the vinyl even smells awesome. Although this isn't the least expensive option, this is the way to go for anyone intending to keep their E36 long term, or to fix a problem rather than just band-aid a factory error. Over time the leather should stretch a bit, instead of shrink like the vinyl. This should insure that the lower panels don't pull away from the map pockets like ALWAYS happens in E36 cars.

I'll be installing them after work today. I'll make sure to update the car's web page with the before/ after. Initial reaction is hugely positive!

Well, the panels are in the car, and look great! Installation was pretty easy, once you figure out how to manipulate the "bastard" clips. Fortunately, Allsher was nice enough to include extra clips as I buggered up a few coaxing the panels into place.

The interior looks fantastic now, better than new actually. The extra leather smell is a nice touch too. As strange as it sounds it makes the car feel richer, and more welcoming.

Web and print updates to come soon!
