Crane Cams is hiring an Electronics Design Engineer to develop electronic and electromechanical devices which will optimize the performance of racing engines and vehicles in the automotive, motorcycle, and off-road markets. "We're looking for someone with creative energy that fully understands the design, development, and test processes involved," said Crane Cams President, Sean Holly.
"Crane Cams has been designing digital and analog automotive electronics for years now and we've got a good team," said Terry Johnson, Crane Cams Electronics Product Manager. "We'll add to that with someone who can work well with all phases of the design and development of ignition systems and other electronic devices."
This full time, salaried position will be filled in Daytona Beach, FL, and requires a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering, as well as experience with PCB layout software, Mechanical Cad Software, Labview, and C language.

Experience & Qualifications
Able to design and develop electronic hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical packaging for engine controls, ignition systems, and other automotive electronic devices
Able to simulate, test, optimize, and verify designs through all phases of product development
Experience with digital and analog automotive electronics
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software
Experience with firmware development in assembly and C language
Experience with test software development using Labview Experience with Mechanical Cad software
Understanding of bills of material, engineering prints, quality documentation, work instructions, and other forms of controlled documentation
Ability to work in a small company with entrepreneurial energy and creative tendencies

BS in Electrical Engineering
