The headliner in my E36 falls a little further each month. Have any advice?

Install a roll cage.

nderwater,

We're considering something for the headliners. In my personal car, from the midline up, the car is being reupholstered in leather replacing the fabric. However, many like and want the Alcantara and it is something we're considering.

We just released some new products for the E36 that are available in the Alcantara: Shifter boots, e-brake boots, and center console. While a lot of people have these products, we have some unique properties lacking in other offerings. We offer true nappa leather where others merely offer a standard grain that is either textured or smooth. The thread we use is incredibly strong and stain resistant. In my car, the beige leather is relatively easy to clean, but the threads always look darker. This is something we wanted to, and did eliminate.

Let us know what you think about the headliner and we'd be more than happy to work with you to bring a product you want to market.

Thanks David and Ethan!

The headlineris another typical E36 problem spot. Finding a permanent solution would be great!

By the way, the April issue is printed, and headed out to our subscribers!

If one has unglued, the rest are sure to follow. It took my passenger side a bit longer to become unglued than the driver's side, but sure enough, it followed.

Absolutely, and our group buy is an excellent time to knock out the failing door panels once and for all.

Just found this thread. On the E36 door panels:

Is there an "easy" way to turn a luxury door panel into a normal door panel?

Also, can you match the magma interior color?

In reply to speedblind:

speedblind,

Sorry for the delayed response. We've been very busy lately and forgot to check here recently. We'll make sure to check here daily form now on.

Yes, it's quite easy to turn the luxury door panel into a standard panel. The only difference would be to add leather wrapped door pulls which the factory offered on the extended leather option. The pull would look purely factory as the pvc outter layer on the door handle matches the grain used on the factory leather quite well.

The magma interior doesn't pose a problem for matching, if they've made or make it, we can get it. We're currently reupholstering a set in modena and the leather looks terrific.

Let us know what you need for your interior and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you and surpass your expectations.

Hi David / Ethan,

Are you folks still around? You made mention of replacing the crispy plastic window clip rails with new rails that you guys make (or have made) in your article. There have been a lot of people asking about these and the only current way to procure them is through junkyards.

Synensis,

Unfortunately, the last time we heard, Allsher Interiors is no longer in business.

It's all in the name. They should have gone with Fishlsopp.
