We're considering adding AN hose and fittings to our lineup. Two brands we are looking at, particularly because we anticipate a lot of our customers will be watching their budgets, are Redhorse and Fragola. But we wanted to hear from the peanut gallery first. Anyone here have experience with these brands? How have they held up for you? Something you'd look into buying again, or is there a different brand you'd rather go for?
I want to say Scummit's house brand fittings are Redhorse. There was a huge thread over it on yellowbullet.
I've been using mostly XRP and Earl's stuff lately, simply because it's hard sorting through what budget stuff is actually worth buying. I don't think the XRP stuff is terribly expensive, so if it's similar price range to what you're looking at, might be worth looking into.
Will be watching this thread with interest!
I used Fragola on my Civic turbo build. They don't leak so I can only assume that as a fitting they work fine.
I have several Fragola fittings and tube nuts on the Barracuda. I've been happy with them and recommending them to my customers. Haven't used their hose ends yet, but I wouldn't hesitate to try them on my own car.
FYI, I've been very disappointed in Russell fittings.
