Booooooring. I get the feeling this one won't see the light of day. Only 2 sold out of 20 with only 6 days to go. Lesson learned. A lot of people can like a car that they do not own.. and therefor will not purchase a shirt for. These are the people who vote in our facebook polls.

Sadly the October poll is shaping up to have the E30 M3 as the winner and as much as I love that car... we all know how many people actually own one.

Time for a new strategy.

I think the E30 M3 is so iconic, it ought to sell well regardless.

Also, for what it's worth, I'm not terribly keen on the 'generation' designs. I'd love the S600 shirt, but the S2000 kinda ruins it for me. < /opinion of one guy on the internet >

There again though you run into the problem of the lack of ownership. Not many S600s out there but there are loads of S2Ks. Iconic and classic is good but I haven't seen it sell shirts. The most shirts we've sold for a specific car so far... Miata.. then Mitsubishi Starion. You could call them Iconic as well but I'm willing to guess that we didn't sell a single one to a person who doesn't own the car that the shirt features.

I bought your Miata shirt after selling mine and gave it to a buddy who doesn't own a Miata on his birthday.

Honestly if stuff isn't selling it's usually design or price. There's a bunch of shirts out there that I'd like to own, but they're too expensive (there's a Porsche 917 one that's pretty kick butt, but it's like $40). But mostly I just find car shirts in general to be to "brotato" styled these days for me. Either it needs to be my car (a'la the Javelin Trans Am Champions shirt), free (a'la Subaru STi rally giveaway), or understated so I can where it somewhere besides the track (a'la polo with Ferrari emblem). If it's the event shirt for a race I am attending (Rose Cup) or racing in (local AX season) I'll buy, too.

But just random shirts with cars? Yeah, not going to be a big draw.

Oh and also, try doing not just Japanese cars. You know cars come from other countries too, right? Like Italy, the US, the UK, Germany, and Australia for starters.

Price and quality are good. Much better than the GRM shirt I got that the graphic nearly disappeared after one wash.

I'd buy the shirt in the OP if it just had a rotor. No car.

I was saying in general, not Gearhead's shirts in particular. The 1 shirt I have purchased from him seemed to be high quality and was fairly priced.
