Millers Oils ALL racers sponsorship program for 2015

Greetins, y'all! Below is a press release announcing a sponsorship program that we (Performance Racing Oils) will be running next year. Basically, 50% off all of our motorsports products for any racer running a sanctioned event with published results......SCCA, NASA, PCA, BMW.....even LeMons, Chump, and WRL. sounds interesting … is autocross and Time Trials considered racing … on this forum there is some disagreement about that

wbjones----- I'm sure Harry will chime in, but as far as I understand it, the Millers Oil program is available for any sanctioned event where standings are listed. So yes, autocross and time trails would apply.

Pretty outstanding deal--- especially considering that you can run Millers Oils for a longer period than most oils---- Millers won't break down as quickly--- saving you money in the long run, while still getting top-notch protection for your engine.

We'll handle the autocross question on a case by case basis. So for any autocrossers, please get in touch with us, and we'll talk. Our original intent was not to include autocrossing for a couple of reasons: 1. We are requiring sponsored racers to run 2 stickers (we will provide with the first order, but will require pictures for subsequent orders), and so many autocrossers are drivers without full time stickers, most wouldn't really qualify. 2. Not sure what all kinds of oils autocrossers run. The environment is much less harsh than a race environment, so the oil won't get nearly as hot as a race car, which makes running a race oil less necessary. That said, we do have several guys running our race oil in their daily drivers, in order to get the NT protection.........however, Millers has recently launched a line of street oils wtih the NT protection, albeit with fewer viscosity options. We are offering these street oils with the program, so it might actually work well.

Time trialers are eligible, since in most cases, reasons 1 and 2 above dno't really apply to them.
