thank you for the photos and the continuation story. Since I just started reading this build blog today, your photos are the only pictures of the car I can see. It looks quite different from what I imagined. Can you tell us the height to the top of the roll bar and the height of the wind screen? Do you drive it on the street and how is it compared to the builders description? This is the 3rd Berkeley build blog I have read. They all seem to be driver only, or half a passenger at best. I think Nohome's suggestion of cutting the body and widening it enough to cover the tires was a good one. I fantasize about making one mid engined by stretching the wheelbase about 25 inches and moving the seats and dash back enough to alllow space in the foot well. It is hard to imagine that stretching the car the length of the door would mean it is still less than 150" over all and less than 95 inches in wheelbase. Your fan base here at Berkeley forever!
