More progress.... I spent this past weekend going over the chassis, and installing the body for hopefully the last time. Saturday was dedicated to getting the chassis ready, all of the front suspension bolts minus the A-arm pivots and damper bolts were tightened, calipers were installed, and brake lines were tightened.
Which meant that I could drop the body back on, on Sunday. I did a few small jobs on the body before it went on, the heater plenum was reinstalled and a few p-clips were added to keep the wiring harness in place. The driveway got a bit busy when I started clearing space in the garage:
Putting the body back on was a breeze, lifting it with an engine hoist made it so much easier:
This work means I can start on the Jag project next week. I did some measuring and it looks like I can get dads MGB, the Elan, and a build table in the garage with room to spare. Though this also means the Elan will take a back seat for a month or so, much to my mum's displeasure. She's already said it's "her" car (my parents had an Elan Sprint when they were first married, but sold it when they wanted to have kids).
