Nice job. That is a lot of weight to be cantilevered out like that and I'm afraid the sheet metal might start to fatigue. I'd put a leg under the battery to support some of the weight by the floor as well.

I though alot about that, the front corner actually sits in a "cradle" caused by the sheetmetal forming a "Y" (next to the wheel well), in other words the front far corner is supported.....
Bam!! Super slammed!! (aka: can't drive it, but it sho looks good!!)
What's crazy is there's still suspension travel left and the a-arms still have downward angle to them, too bad the tires rub!! I raised the rear about an inch and the front two inches, I also figured out why the axles are bottoming, I'm using B3 90 inner CV's which are "thicker".

Thanks!! Now it's time for the EFI install, gave up on CIS!!!
Gonna run it on the stock JT (w/NF cam) for now, tune it and develop the chassis on track, then go to the 7A turbo of death
Great build buddy, I really love the way this thing looks. Shes sexy!! Never thought a 4K could actually look this good.
looks great man. I feel your tire rubbing pains. I recently bought some 6" coils for the front, not because I can go lower and drive it. . . for "show height" lol. glad to see the efi too!

It's running and pretty much ready, unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait until Oct. when it cools down, all the local tracks are at 100°+ already!
It occurred to me yesterday when fiddling with the suspension alignment on the R.C.O.D, that I could redrill the urethane subframe bushings, move the subframe forward about ½" and get me some more caster in the front end, right now stock it's at 1.5°, I'm hoping to add another deg...
Looking good! Those are the tires I will be getting for the 80 comp wheels in my B3 80q.
What bushings are you running in the subframe? I would be a little worried about drilling another hole in urethane bushings. Put enough force in it, and the bolt will tare its way into the center hole. That would make for some interesting handling.

Too bad they don't carry the cool Bridgestones! $70 off right now, too! I could walk away with a set of RE760's in a 205/55/16 for under $400 shipped, but I want the RE71R's bad.
I was just admiring the radiator shrouding you made, I'm about to do the same. how's that dual radiator setup working out?

I've only driven the car a few miles, but it should be "overcooled", I'll find out when I get it on track, the stock engine shouldn't be an issue, the 20v turbo I have planned for installation will create allot more heat!
