Starting to restore an '84 Ram. First thing on my list is 2 dents: one on the left fender and one on the passenger door. They're both pretty big. Anyone have any advice on how to knock them out? I'm only 15 and I don't know much.

If you post pictures of the dents, you'll get some good advice for sure.
If you can get to the back of them, a hammer and dolly might work. Or a slide hammer?
Welcome! To post pictures you will have to upload them to flickr/imgur/photobucket website first and paste a hotlink here. Usually the .jpg URL into the Camera button pop up box above where you type in your text.

No I haven't but if that's what it takes I guess I could. Personally I would like to fix the debts if anyone knows of a way to do so. Replacing them is a plan b. In reply to classicJackets:
Those are pretty good dents, I don't think you will get them satisfactorily flat again without a ton of practice. If that's what you are after then go for it! Slide hammer for the bigger part of the dent, remove the fender then dolly the rest mostly smooth. Most likely you will have to skim them with filler To get it smooth then repaint.
Dodges are nice because used parts abound, new parts aren't as easy to come by. There are a number of us with first gen trucks here on the forum. Good luck!

No problem.
I agree, those panels look too far gone for it to be econimal to repair, but if you're looking to learn how to do body work, have at it.
I had a 1st gen D250 with the Cummins. LOVED IT
You're better off replacing them. However if your high school has a vocational auto body program, enroll and learn how. You can fix them as a class project. Body work is an art form that takes a while to learn, but pays off HUGE. What part of the country are you in? Rust doesn't look too bad for it's age.
I'm no bodyman, but I think to bang those out well enough to not need a can or three of fiber reinforced filler afterwards you'll need to learn the black art of "shrinking" metal. Creases mean the steel is stretched out.
