A friend is resurrecting his 1987 Golf GTI (with a sweet 2.0 liter built motor) and the time has come to fabricate and install the brake lines. The project has sat long enough he's forgotten a few things and we're hoping some expert here can confirm the flare type he wants.
We think this is the DIN/ISO Bubble flare on a 4.75mm OD brake line, with a flare OD of 7.1mm.
The brake line nuts have a little non-threaded lead and are definitely 10mm x 1.0 thread. They are marked "M10x1 bubble thread size" and came from Advanced Auto Parts.
