Hello,
I’m Roy, 22 years old. Living in Belgium.
I am a big fan of cars from the 80s and the 90S
i currently own 2 Audi’s;
1989 Audi Coupe 2.2 5cylinder 136HP in Kamei Design (daily driver) and fully restored (respray, suspension, exhaust, interior,...)
1988 Audi 90 2.0 5cylinder 116HP
bought it very cheap (640dollar). The reason why i bought it, because i wanted a car that i really can enjoy driving without being worried about the paint and that something breaks i don’t need it the next workday.
Bought it like this;
Last testfit before the bumpers are getting some paint!
Some work done in the past week
The spoiler is painted, logo’s on the boot are removed for the stickers.
US TAILLIGHTS mounted;
Removed the front and rear bumper because i brought them to the bodyshop! Will be back at the end of this week.
Also painted the wheels white!
All the parts are now painted and mounted!
How it is currently:
Bought some new frontseat this week, the interior will get a rebuild.
Will remove the rearseats, make some woodplates on the place covered in the same fabric as the front seats.
Plans;
interior rebuild (bucket seats, rearseat delete, A pillar gauge mount,..)
exhaust (full stainless exhaust line and probably a decat)
suspension ( new parts and other stab.bar)
engine (new parts, maybe performance updates)

Very nice to see you here! I commented on your build on S2furom as well. I love the livery job done on the sedan. I was thinking of doing something similar to my 10vt swapped 80q.
Nice! How about a detailed account of your built?
I have a bit of a soft spot for these cars and I’m not sure why. I want yours. Both of them. Lovely cars sir
Very cool! Any more photos/details on the coupe?

added some pictures!
I will open a detailed thread of the coupe later this week. We did a lot to it :)
Thanks everyone!
Did a roadtrip in Luxembourg yesterday. 530kms and almost 8hours driving on the nice twisty roads in the beautiful nature!
Sold the QSP deepdish steeringwheel, it was really difficult to get in the car with the bucketseats. Bought now a nice quality steeringwheel.
Sabelt 330mm stuur.
Thinking of putting on a quickrelease hub for the steeringwheel, any thoughts?
Also put the complete exhaust line on, nice sound not to loud. Ideal for long drives;
The exhausttip was to short because the Kamei bumperspoiler, now at a company for making it a bit longer!
Soundclip wil follow this weekend;
Plans for the winter;
Big engine service (belts, waterpump, sparkplugs,..)
Suspension upgrade (new topmounts, new shocks, stabilizer bar from a 1990 model (better for cornering)
interior ( a-pillar gauge mount, flocking the dash & doorpanels & centerconsole, roof-sky recovered in nice dark fabric.)
Always loved the look of the coupe but jeez is it really an '89? Man I must be getting old! Seems like only yesterday it was a fairly new car. The sedan looks pretty darn good in the comp colors. 'Sunday'? The english tabloid?
