I put it in "2" and drove it around a bit. Variation on the symptom- it'll bog about 2000 RPM, but once past that it'll keep going.

SOLD to Legendscar95, who needs something to work on over the winter. Sale price is well under Challenge budget, too!

LOL - this is a case where I'm truly hoping "the internet" is making too big a deal about it... Yeah, it really doesn't take two full days and is nearly impossible... I mean, right?!!?!
PS. I do have family in Jasper I could visit on the way to your place.. Hmmm....
Mine,( or actually, still owned be the original owner) just for reference. 175,000, and still on original Optispark! Only work ever needed under the hood is oil changes, spark plugs, (maybe wires, but not not sure) and - for some odd reason - a new thermostat ever few years.
Replacing the opti and wires is involved but not too bad. Doing plugs on a car with longtubes is easy. I'm not sure what kind of peasant would attempt it on a car with stock manifolds though.
I would be very scared to attempt the long tube install itself, though!
The all black sure did look good when polished up, but she took a lot of parking lot damage through the years. Almost all it need is with the parts car at least, but a lot of labor to make it nice again. Much better candidate for a Challenge car!
In a strange twist of time and fate, this is coming back under my ownership.
A budget breakdown for the Challenge will happen once it's back home.

Misty isn't thrilled. I never really finished this car before I sent it on, and the package was way too good to pass up. I am hoping that it's pretty much "put it back together, go to the Challenge."
