Side benefit of the new wing....I'm getting more light into the back window which makes it a LOT easier to see out of.

Progress!
I mentioned I was in the process of acquiring some stock seats for the car.
well my buddy with the White EG hatch sent his car off for a cage and the driver seat was finally relinquished!
At the same time I also picked up the passenger seat and so now I have not only 1 stock seat, but a matching pair! and in fairly good condition too!
Before
After
also a Bonus, a picture of the back of the interior....
So my thought from here is this....I have 2 perfectly working seats in solid shape....but they are a faded blue color.... and the rest of my interior trim is black.
What do you guys know/think about fabric dying?
Color me interested about dying seats. I've dyed fabric before and the results have always been so so, but I've never tried a product specifically for this sort of thing.
I was going to recommend seat covers but those incredible space age head rests might prove hard to find a cover for.

I need to do more research on fabric dye....or see if we could find a crazy company to sell me a new cover for the seats!
Is the headrest fixed or can it come off? Mrs. Deuce just got a new sewing machine that will handle stretchy fabric better than my old one. We 'might' be able to make something.

Everything is removable with the proper force.
But I will investigate and report back.
So had to drive my Mazda 6 to drop it off to my parents last weekend. While I was there in Chicago for a few hours I dropped by and recorded a podcast with Adam Jabaay from Slip Angle Podcast!
Have a listen and have a few laughs while we talk about my background with cars, Hondas, ND Miatas and the Mazdadeuce R63 minivan!
