A coil went bad. Diagnosing it and replacing it took ten minutes. Everything is working again.

Two issues in a year, though? This is ridiculous!

Agreed, completely unacceptable!

I bought our 05 V8 used, as a rural necessity. Now you'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. Stupid, boring 235k mile all-weather station wagon.

Went outside yesterday to go run some errands and found this. The tires had pretty much aged out at this point in time, so I'm picking up new ones today- Firestone Destination X/T. I've not used this model of tire before, so we'll see how it goes.

While I had that wheel up in the air, I put a jack stand under the truck and greased up the driveshaft. That's supposed to get done every oil change, but I didn't do it last change, which was just about 250 miles ago.

I didn't have the V8 4 runners on my radar until a short while ago, now knowing that they use the same drivetrain as the GX470.

Enjoyed reading over your thread from the past 6 years with this one!

It's been pretty dang good. I constantly think about getting a pickup truck or Toyota Sequoia, and just never pull the trigger. I think it'll take this getting into a wreck and totalled out for me to fo that route.
