Group 44 is my vote. Love that scheme.
Having just bought an '03 StypeR for almost challange money I can attest to how impressive that supercharged v8 is. Nice score! Can't wait to see it in livery form.
Just thought I’d drop this here in case anyone else is inspired. XJR for $800...

Oh my lord, I did not know there was so much tasty Jag goodness available for so little. This could spell troubles down the road.
I've got some 5x108 wheels for sale if you're still looking. Price is definitely negotiable. Wheels are located in Chattanooga. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/parts-sale/17x8-voxx-misano-wheels-5x108-300-obo/152719/page1/

Wow. If that were in Chicago I'd be dragging it home as we speak.

Parts Car?
This is probably too far for you but may not be for Indy-guy. I would go find his thread too but I am sure he will see this post.

Robbie get this as a parts car. I need some stuff off of it!
Also,
I once had aspirations of owning all generations of XJR's. You can buy a nice running example for the first 3 generations for under 10k all in. The most recent generation isn't depreciating fast enough

Yep. I've got my eyes on this thread.
Good parts car, but I have no available time or money at the moment. I have to prep my own Jaaaaag (and finances) for the trip to Gainesville in less than 7 weeks.
In reply to karplus2 :
It's the wrong generation car for me. I don't think they share many parts, if any.
The search for wheels continues but the search for the vibration on the highway has paused. The tires had minor cracking on the outside sidewalls and I knew they needed to be replaced. I put the car up on a lift today and three of the four inside sidewalls looked incredibly bad. The car will be parked for a little while.
In other news from underneath the car, most of the bushings could use replacement, but overall this car is incredibly clean and incredibly cool.
In reply to cmcgregor :
I wonder how bad they were when I changed the oil. I obviously didn't notice if they were this bad, but the vibration hasn't gotten noticeably worse.
Holy E36 M3. That could have ended badly. Especially considering the speed these cars are capable of.
is that a run-flat? because someone thought it was a run-flat. or at least a park-flat-for-a-long-time.

Thought about it. Not the right car or the right time. Not when you can buy much nicer running and driving ones for very similar coin.
You'll need to log in to post.
