Did you ever get the hot water shower figured out ?

Love the pace of the build thread. It's about as dynamic as my 4Runner thread.

after two years bought one today. 4 hours after it was traded into lexus dealer. 1 owner all records.68k miles.

This thread on the FJ Cruiser forums shows how the seat sits. You can't sit anyone larger than about four and a half feet tall back that. Five feet if you hate them. That puts you in the very narrow window of "out of the car seat but not actually tall". We're idiots and had kids close together so it worked for us. Unfortuanately the company seems to have disappeared, so you'd need to find a used one like the one I have shoved up in the rafters. 

And glad to hear you're picking one up. They're cool.

thanks, i dont have immediate need for them. Hopefully we can can put our mazda 5 up for sale in a few weeks. Worst car we owned for 8.5 years. Nice to be able to replace with FJ!

That's what my wife and I call them. For reference, ours is Barbie blue, tan ones are cool guy tan. We have lots of unofficial color names. 

That's also the TRD fancy one? I know you can get the black mirrors and bumper caps and wheels, but most of them that have ALL of the TRD stuff are actual TRD ones.

Yes, 1 of 2500 trail team edition. Also the only FJ that is displayed at the Land Cruiser museum

funny you mention, got thumbs up from firemen driving next to me, 2 hours after purchase:) 

Now that I live in Colorado, I really want one of these.  Lack of income is holding me back at the moment, but I'll be following this.
