PLAD SPD
I think SWMBO wins this one, not just because it's SWMBO, but because DRK SD is the best suggestion so far.

We can only use 6 letters, but I really like PLD SPD. Have to run that one by Mrs. Deuce.
Aside from the plate, maybe some dirivative on this theme for window or stickers
And maybe some dirivative on this:
Maybe Vader playing the Tuba.
On a side note, while pulling these images, this came up. Seems appropriate for the CTSV.
So I'm back driving the wagon after the summer of my wife driving it around. The good news is that even though she likes it, she likes it less than the 911 so I get to keep it.
My son and I wandered down to Motorsports Ranch Houston this morning to hang out with a friend who is instructing at an SCCA DE day. About 15 minutes after we arrived he asked if we could use the wagon for a lead/follow session so he could fit extra students in and have it be quiet enough to talk to them. He said that since it was a low speed sesion and he was an instructor that my son and I could ride. Sweet! The five of us piled into the wagon and headed out. An easy 15 minute session designed to let the two DE passengers and the 10 cars behind us figure out proper lines and braking areas and the places where the track could bite you. It was fun.
A quick check of the tires when done confirmed that I need something other than the stock Pilot Sport PS2 tires. We did not drive hard but in the 90+ degree heat the tires shoed visible wear after the short 15 minute session. Time to go tire and wheel shopping, I've got some adventures coming up.
RE: the license plate holder, at least it repositions the plate so it doesn't block as much airflow from the grilles.
Nice pick, BTW! I <3 fast wagons.
Well this is almost certainly not a good idea.
Initial measurements have the 275 RS3's about 1cm wider than the 285 Pilot Sports on the back of the wagon. They're a LOT wider than the 255's on the front.

Plz go to tirerack.com and price out Pilot Sports for V Wagon. Maybe a smokey burnout when cords are showing. Maybe. The RS3's won't fit on the stock wheels anyway, which means that the brown truck has to come back again.
Part of my justification (weak) for the V wagon was my son playing the tuba. Tuba fit in the back. He brought it home every day to practice. He was first chair and received super outstanding tuba player of the year for fifth grade. Awesome.
It turns out that the band director used my son as an example of how much better tuba players can be if they can practice at home. He convinced the district to buy a whole second set of tubas so each kid who plays the tuba can have one at home as well as one at school and nobody has to drag them back and forth. So now I don't actually need to carry a tuba in the V after all. I've been using it to haul stuff for the garage instead. Works well.

Oh I know how much Michelins cost. I'm no dummy. I still think you should do a burnout.

All of them don't fit or just the fronts?
I don't know if you ever got custom plates or not- but I just had a brilliant idea. You got it to carry a tuba, so why not OOMPAH.

All of them. Stock wheels are 19's of various widths. The RS3's are 18's. I've been assured that these will fit when the proper wheel is used. I'm skeptical. We'll see.
New track wheels seem to fit. Stock lug nuts do not. Finding small diameter cone seat 14x1.5 lug nuts took me a second. They should be on their way.
I took the V wagon autocrossing yesterday. I was supposed to take the RX7, but I had to tear apart my wife's truck on Saturday and didn't feel like loading it on the trailer. Basically I ran the Cadillac because I was lazy. I'm still surprised at the reaction to the car. People know what it is and seem to love it. I managed to get third in FS which was good enough for a trophy on the day. I PAXed 54 out of 110 which was up about 15 places from last time. It was a fun day and I'm getting better at wrestling this beast. If any pictures pop up, I'll post them.
