hmmm... you didn't mention if you had actually worked on the brakes yet....

You are DA MAN!!
I'm still working the interior. The car had some really knackered seat belts . I grabbed some from a 88 Tercel. It physically bolts in the space, but I think they may be a bit too long or the reels are at a wrong angle. It doesn't lock when you pull it aggressively. Still have figure that out.
I also pulled the rapidly decaying wood steering wheel.
Since I'm not stripping the sound deadening tar out, I have to finish cleaning for some paint.
The kittens have been moved since last Wednesday. I've been working to get rid of the "stink" left by them and the "stink" still haunting those MR2 seat I grabbed from Pull-a-Part.
I pulled out some stuff today in preparation for an all week thrash!!
Enjoy the pics. . . .
Trying to decide how I wanna finish the wheels off . . . I'm thinking red lip, black spokes and red in the small channel in the spoke . . or just leave em red. . .

do yourself a BIG favor... replace the control arm pivot bushing... Rock Auto... or if you want urethane.. Prothane, or Energy Suspension should have them listed.
get new hoses too

Gots a box full of stock brake items from RockAuto.
I decided not to replace them as they where NEW when I pulled the stuff off the Cressida from a Pull-a-Part trip. There were three month old suspension work receipts in the glove box.
At a stop right now to get sammiches . . . but the rear end is nearly complete. The drum brakes were a breeze!! The first side took about 30 mins, the other took about 10 .
The po boogered up the diff fill plug pretty good; I can get a wrench or socket to grab it . . .

Thanks!! There is something to that prep, sand, clean, primer, sand, clean and paint thing
I have to get some black paint to do the little channels in the spokes and then clear . . .
I'm sure that prep makes all the difference. I did lousy prep on the geo, and the rustoleum blue that I used in the chanels on the spokes has peeled. :(
Can you go over your general prep and painting procedures, especially on the suspension stuff? I've got pieces coming off soon and I really don't want to bolt them back on ugly. I like to learn from people that seem to do a good job.
LOVE the MKII Supra wheels. I have always though this was one of Toyota's better looking stock wheels. They even look better red.
(and those are some damn cute kittens)

Real easy . . .
Awesome.
Same general procedure for suspension components and such? I'll probably be starting with the bracketry on the front of the motor when I change the water pump.
You build has had me searching craigslist by the way. I like it.
Yup . . . I used the same procedure on e'erything.
If the parts are greasy, purple power/simply green the E36 M3 out of it and let it dry first.
