So my 16 year old and I have gone off the deep end with another race car in the shop. I have always wanted to participate the in the challenge but never had the time or resource. Well this is the year! We just picked up a sweet 2003 Focus SVT from Copart with a salvage title to start our build. $463 dollars including fees and and we have a fast little ride. Autox here we come. No more tearing up the daily drivers. Runs and drives great just needs a little body work.

Fun!
What are your plans? Crazy or Mild?
$463!? Well bought!
Can't wait to see what you do with this.
Very nice. Those are EAP (European appearance package) wheels. Does it have HID projector headlights and Sparco seats?

EAP cars had Recaro seats, not Sparco.
Nice wheels. How bad was the rear left hit? I remember the hubs and control arms for these not being terribly expensive from the dealer.
Looks like a relatively hard hit but it was mainly low right in front of the tire. Door and seal are still in great shape though.

I have the recaro I believe. The black with red inserts.
Holy berkeleying E36 M3 deal of the century on a super overlooked autox machine.
Cool! My dad has a 02 SVT Focus he’s had since new. I’ve been trying to convince him it needs to go racing.
Such a sweet engine.
If any one is interested I am actually going to be getting rid of those wheels. There are only 3 though. One got damaged in accident. We are going to put 15" rota slipstreams on it I think. Much better avalibity of autox tires.

Probably gonna set up for FSP class autox. It already has an aftermarket AEM cai and cat back exhaust. So relatively mild. I want this to be a fun car he and I can reliably go have fun in.
In reply to BTD :
I knew that, but wrote sparco for some reason.

First Autox test for our SVT. Much faster than our Honda fit. Rear end is very happy. Will rotate on you very easily. We are still on the street tires that came with the car from copart though. Need to work on the alignment also.
