So I figured I would do a thread for this car because it's true to the grm style and maybe it'll give people some ideas. I bought it in 2005 and sold it in 2007 doing everything low budget (not low class) in the garage. Daily driven all the while.

All in all less the $3k invested including the car.

Mods: Weber 32/36 carb with K&N / Flex-Dam front fascia/ IMSA inspired yellow headlights (stained glass window paint)/ Zender spoiler/ Ansa exhaust / Recaro seats front and rear (now I have some tan ones)/ New Sachs clutch / 320i alternator - a mod nonetheless/ Dino steering wheel / OEM 13 in BBS mesh

Rustoleum Little Mermaid paint from Home Depot (Laguna Seca Bluish)

In the backyard drying and paint comparison. Close for 50 bucks!

The car came with some decent black recaros and an aluminum hub Dino wheel. I traded with a buddy who has a silver 69 for has tan seats and wood wheel. Worked out for both of us
