Nice, I am looking towards a GTS sedan
I really kinda hope that my kid is into "classic imports" as he grows up as I would love an excuse to buy one of these to have in the shop.

Those are real nice! I like the sunny trucks.
Back to topic, what was going on with the cooling system? Was it the cooling system or the hot air not dispersing out of the bay?
Made some progress on this car, was waiting after December to do more work to it and have funds set aside to finish.
I don't know much about electricals so I paid someone to properly wire up the boost controller and have scheduled to get a tune.
Next step is suspension.
It's kind of funny how great this car is. Aside from my error in modding judgement it's been extremely well behaved and reliable. I have had to do VERY little work to it, at least to what I had to do to past old cars i've owned.
Going to the next stages of my R32 Skyline GTS-T build, here's my list of needs to do so far:
sell power fc (should be able to sell for around $900)
sell hand controller (idk 100-200?)
Buy DSM big 16G + Kinugawa Skyline 8cm turbine housing - going to shop on DSM and Evo forums for this turbo. (turbo $200-$500 housing $230)
Buy DSM 450cc Injectors (6 or 2 sets of 4) - or 3000GT VR4 injectors maybe? Bigger than GTR injectors slightly but are plug and play. ($200?)
3in intake pipe, get nipple welded on adapter from 2.5in (or 2in?) to 3in for MAF.
Z32 MAF ($100-$200)
Nistune + Software (~$400)
Tune (400-600, still shopping around)
Already have:
Required Bolt ons
Nismo Fuel Pump
Might need:
Clutch upgrade
Wondered how long it would take til you realized the power fc was junk. Looks like a good list, I have a friend running nistune and is real happy with it

The main problem is it cost $900 and the software it turns out doesn't work with the RB20DET Power FC. So to get software for it I need to spend another $400 on datalogit. Meanwhile Nistune + software is $400.
Also one thing I forgot is that I need a new clutch before I do this DSM turbo upgrade option I sold the power FC for around what I wanted and i'm ordering that soon.
Nice Skyline!
I notice you mentioned a weird stick-on antenna on your bumper, I know what that is... My 98 STI came over with one too, it's a "parking sensor", basically a rod that sticks up so you know where the corner of your car is when parking in tight spots. (mine was the first thing I removed)
Pretty funny how different tuning options work better on some cars than others... For the JDM GC8s, the Power FC is the go-to tuner, basically the best you can run (other than $$$$ standalone race units, MOTEC, etc.), but in the Nissan world, people say they suck...
I'll be watching your build!
