Buy skipping over complete paragraphs (or ten), I was able to glean the meat of the build, and find it quite interesting. Despite the self deprecation, I'm thinking it'll be right cool

After a quick check in on his build thread, it looks like my faith in him may have been justified.
Hopefully he does not go back to just vomiting words onto a forum
I know lots of Abby's. Bit of myself. Don't understand the need to cram it down folks throats 
There are plenty of places on line for that, but GRM is (supposed to be) our sanctuary from that !
I get a bit wordy on our own build thread, but try to balance it out with lots photos of the work and try to keep the words down to an explanation of those photos, not really just an expository of what I'll do later on . . . hopefully.

Yup, mucho irrelevant content. Trying to rein that in. Thought it would help people understand my mania and thus their own manias. Tryin' to leave my Mania's out. Pay no attention to the little man behind the curtain, It's just an engine swap folks, don't worry about the physics.

I grew up on a shoestring budget, and have never grown past that by much

Stopped traveling work (short term maint. or construction gigs)for a bit, but that was a big mistake
Glad to be back to traveling, again, but without my wife, and she is really missing it.

) Got a gig in GA for the winter, but every trip home has been a deferred maintenance nightmare.
Still a ton of projects started since being on here... all stalled
But, still suckin' air, so everything will work itself out. Usually not the way we want it to; but all good!
Only GRM worthy news in my life: I had been 2nd in line for the "free" GRM Europa, but it was blessed with a much better fabricator for its home.
I am first in line for the new free GRM Europa, but my contact did not make it to IL to get it yesterday.
I can't even get a FREE car, these days! (Working on it though)

I'm trying to dump this thread, meet me on the new one. Great to hear from you! You know I'm in Columbus, Ga?, not far from LA! I'm looking for someone who can travel to me and weld some stuff. Very light fabricating, strut tower bracing. If we can figure it out it would be a paying gig. (BFF Shawn is having vision trouble and he is the welder. I have artifical lenses in my eyes, my DR recommends I stay far, far away from welding flash. I am at extreme risk for retinal burns.)
