You are going a very different way with your 57 budget wise but have a similar destination in mind.

Finally working on the chassis....
Well finally time to make some progress:
heading over to body shop now:
- make the engine bay look like new.
- Replace trunk floor and add mini-tubs
- little cancer on the roof to be fixed.

Its a rented warehouse in Monrovia. I rent "3" of the spaces in a row, for my farm cold storage. One has the lift in it, where I work and store car, second one is the one with the Orange Scout in pic, and the one more to the right we use for cold storage. Unfortuantely none are connected, so you have to exit out, and go to the other unit.

WOW - that is coming together nicely. The motor setup should be extra rowdy. Assuming the new frame makes the chassis drastically more rigid or does more need to be done with tie bars and connectors?
In reply to 84FSP :
it is certainly quite rigid - i do not think more needs to be done.
having said that lets see once we finish if it needs anything more
cant wait to drive the end product!
How was the fitment of the body to the frame? Any difficulties?
In reply to rdcyclist :
smooth as butter
guess those guys at the chassis builder know what they are doing
also 1 owner car no body work or accidents certainly helped
